Emily started her career in Human Factors after graduating with a Psychology degree from the University of Aberdeen in 2018. Following this she worked full time as a Human Factors Advisor whilst working towards her MSc in Applied Ergonomics and Human Factors. Emily Graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2021 with Distinction and a thesis investigating the development of a remote method for the completion of Safety Critical Task Analysis.
Emily focuses on the integration of Human Factors within an organisations SEMS. Since starting her career she has gained vast experience assisting in the development of Human Factors systems and processes including those for SCTA, Incident Investigation, Document Management and Management of Change.
In 2022 Emily was awarded Highly Commended for New Ergonomist of the Year by the Chartered institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors.
